“My student actors love Curt’s energy… He gets right in there and inspires them to be better than they think they can be!”

—Valerie O’Riordan, Drama Director, Archbishop Riordan High School

Directing

As a director, Curt Branom recently staged acclaimed professional productions for the San Francisco Symphony and Teatro Zinzanni, as well as a student production for Archbishop Riordan High School. Since 2012, he has been the lead director and acting coach for Pacific Singers & Actors Workshop (www.singersandactorsworkshop.org), for which he received a 2019 Jefferson Award for Public Service.

Curt is currently creating and directing The Magic Cable Car, an online musical adventure series for children, with live performances in development.

“Curt’s positive and joyful directorial approach is infectious! His clear guidance allows me to feel confident exploring and playing. I leave rehearsals and filming feeling light and happy”

Curt’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Riordan High School was nearly canceled due to the 2019 COVID pandemic. The live, onstage production was not possible, so Curt led the students in extra online rehearsals to produce a special “Zoomical” performance enjoyed by students, parents, friends, family and administration. It was important to him that the students have something to show for their hard work.

Curt is interested in exploring all manner of productions and is at home working with professionals and students alike. Contact curt@curtbranom.com for inquiries.
